Failure on expected parameters

Postby Emma Howard » Fri Feb 01, 2013 6:11 am

I have a stored procedure which I fire from the project info centre. I have set the level to ALL, the parameter is WBS1, this is correctly set up when calling the stored procedure. However I receive an error that the expected parameter was not sent to the stored procedure. Does anybody have any ideas on this?

Not sure how you are calling, but was this working previously and/or have you recently upgraded?

I had a client where I created a Stored Procedure triggered from the Info Center, and in particular from one update on one info center record. Worked perfectly till we crossed over to 2013. Finally after no luck with Deltek Support, I tested the SP manually thru SQL Management Studio and it worked perfectly. So, I simplye recreated the Work Flow and deleted the old one.

Sad to say, it now works perfectly again.

Hi Meaglin

This is a brand new SP, and I am triggering it from a user initiated work flow on a change event in a field. The parameter in the SP is WBS1, the parameter sent is WBS1. I have deleted and recreated the workflow three or four times without any luck.

Deltek Support cannot help me, the SP is testing perfectly when running manually

I would have to look at both the workflow and your SP. Let me know if you would like to engage.
