User defined checkbox not saving

Postby Gina » Wed Jun 27, 2012 3:11 pm

I have a list of user defined checkboxes in the project info center that only randomly save whether they are checked or not. I'm not sure how long this has been going on. Has anyone ever come across this and what did you do to fix it? We are still on 5.1 BTW.

Never seen this happen. You might want to look at any related workflows that might be affecting the record on save and disable them to troubleshoot.

I just discovered late yesterday, that it is just my machine. I'm going to try to log in on someone else's machine to see what happens today. I've rebooted, deleted cookies, windows update, everything I can think of.

UPDATE - My log in works fine on other computers as well. It is simply something weird in my computer. Any suggestions now? Our IT guy is scratching his head too.

Nope, never seen this. Verify IE versions and you may want to run a spyware/antivirus scan.

The only other thing that might be going on is that you might be connecting to an old (unpatched) version of your Vision database. I'd check to see what version of Vision you're running (About -> Details) and make sure the version you're using on your machine matches the version on your server. We had someone connecting to the backup and, because she tended to do her work offline, didn't get all of the updates.
