CRM and Multicompany

We are going to start using multicompany in Vision 7.1. Per the help documentation it states that CRM is at the enterprise level so that all companies can share CRM activities.

However, we have two non-overlapping companies, there is no need for one company to see the others clients/contacts/activities and etc. Is there a way to limit access to client/contact records "owned" a company such the users' active company on sees those clients, contacts, and CRM activities?

I figure this could be done using record level security access, but is there a more simple way to "assign" clients and contacts to a company in Vision?
