The Business Analyst position will be providing programming services and technical support for day to day operations of the Information Technology Department. These duties include but are not limited to systems analysis and design, requirements gathering, impact assessments, timelines for delivery, and implementation and support in additional to maintaining thorough documentation pertaining to each.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Designs, develops, tests, implements, debugs and supports software modifications as requested in order to support the different segments of software components to meet operating requirements.
Write software to format and structure reports to perform required functions to suit business, statistical, technical and mathematical requirements where an analysis of the requirements has been performed.
Creates effective, efficient, and logical database designs using both off the shelf database management systems with Microsoft SQL as well as other proprietary products.
Easily recognizes system deficiencies and recommends solutions targeted towards scalability and effectiveness while promoting integration.
Creates and executes project work plans and perform revisions as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements. Communicates and enforces coding standards while remaining within budget and project schedule.
Consistently delivers high quality services to users through demonstration of understanding complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs. Effectively employs different database design techniques and understands the benefits of the various programming languages
