Financial Analyst-Denver Opportunity

Summary: Keeps records of financial transactions by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reconciles and balances accounts.
• Compiles reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
• Project report generation & analysis
• Sales & use tax audit support
• Support Accounting training
• Contract Audit support
• Prepares ad hoc reports as required
• Assists with other projects and audits as needed

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software; DELTEK VISION software IS A MUST, Microsoft Internet Explorer internet software and Microsoft Outlook email

Certificates and Licenses:
CPA Preferred
