Cleveland, OH

As a Financial Administrator at DLR Group you will provide guidance and support to the Region related to finance and accounting. This position involves both traditional accounting functions as well as pro-actively applying any lessons learned and analytics to help ensure our future financial success. This position reports to the Financial Director in the Cleveland office.

Position Summary:
You will be responsible for the overall financial function of the Region as it relates to daily operations and provide pro-active strategies and support for our project teams.

The successful candidate will:
*Set up all of the project information in the accounting project management computer software, Deltek Vision. This includes all initial contract fee information and ongoing maintenance to ensure accurate project information throughout the life of the project.
*Work closely with the Regional and Client Leaders on a monthly basis to determine how much to bill, and coordinate billing and collections with client counterparts.
*Work closely with, Office and Sector Leaders to populate the 6 month company-wide revenue projections.
Coordinate with consultants, processing invoices for payment.
*Assist multiple Project Managers and staff on a daily basis in regards to finance.
*Work with the Region Leader to proactively identify and implement ideas to help the Region to become more profitable.
*Review contracts to assure compliance.
*Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions of the office are current.

Required Qualifications:

*3+ years accounting experience.
*Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction (A/E/C) industry.
*Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
*Ability to work cross-functionally with other technical teams.
*Proactive, independent thinker possessing a high attention to detail.
*Ability to work effectively as a team member.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider a combination of experience and education.
*Experience using Deltek Vision software.
