Sharing a Custom Report

Postby enginenerd » Tue Jun 17, 2014 7:35 am

I have created a custom report by altering an existing report and have made it a global favorite.

I would like to share it with a few (or all) of the security roles, but it does not show up in their reports tab. I cannot figure out how to properly share this report.

Hopefully it is just my lack of experience with the product.

Any thoughts?

After you save the global favorite, there is an option to save for all roles, or you can choose the specific roles you want to see it. I would go back into Organize Favorites for this report and check the role settings. You may also want to check your own security role to make sure you have the option to "save global reports for other roles".

Is this a fully customised report - in other words did you design it outside of Deltek, then upload it - if so you need to add the report in security roles as well.
