Exporting Report Information into Microsoft Excel

Postby admarol » Sat Mar 18, 2017 12:15 am

Hi Everyone!

I have a question about Reporting.... Is it possible to have an excel spreadsheet (through a particular formula) pull values from a specific report?

I'd like to pull values from a specific report without having to open up Vision each time. I would like to just click on a button in excel and the values automatically get pulled in from a particular report.

Is something like this possible in Vision?

Thanks in advance,
admarol

Thank you for your reply.

How would you build something like that? Is it easy to do? Is it something I might be able to do? Are there instructions somewhere on how I could do that?

This is something I provide as part of professional services. It is not provided by Deltek as part of normal deliverable and they charge for this.

If you know where the data is saved and how in the database, then you may be able to extract it from sql server .

How much do you charge? Per hour?
